Homecomings

Rentz Baptist Church is celebrating 100 years of ministry with several Sundays of guest preaching by former pastors of the church. Herb Woodyard, pastor from 1975-1978, spoke on Oct. 16 and Billy Lee, pastor from 1965-1967, on Oct. 23. Grady Mimbs, pastor from 1981-1989, will speak Oct. 30. Evangelist Wayne Hamrick will lead revival services Nov. 2-4.

Following revival, Rentz Church will celebrate homecoming Nov. 6, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Guest speakers include Harry Bentley, pastor from 1944-1948, and Otis Bentley, pastor in 1981. Dinner will follow. For more information contact the church at (478) 984-4657. Tom Vann is pastor.

Zoar Baptist Church in Appling County will observe its 110th anniversary on Oct. 30. Danny Jones, current pastor of TyTy Baptist Church and a former pastor of Zoar, will preach. A covered dish lunch and singing will follow. Jeff Waters is pastor.
