Brody Bearden was ordained into the ministry on July 24 at Salem Baptist Church in Lexington. Bearden serves Salem as youth minister.

David Lanthripp and John Mark Tanner were ordained as deacons at Smyrna Baptist Church in Deepstep on Oct. 16. Brant Kennedy is pastor.
