As church planting missionary at Brookhaven Baptist, Mark Taylor’s ministry area will be Cosmos – young cosmopolitans – who are quickly moving into the community undergoing gentrification. Taylor and his wife, Ashley, relocated from Louisville, Ky.

Pastor Don Presley said Taylor is the third church planter added to Brookhaven’s staff in the past month. Others include Frank Rivero, who will focus on Hispanics, and Nathan and Christina Tran, who will minister among second-generation Asians.

“Our church has a big heart but few financial and human resources. We encourage Georgia Baptists to walk alongside us,” Presley added.

The bivocational church planters result from a partnership between Brookhaven, GBC, NAMB, and Atlanta Metro Baptist Association.
