Clairmont Baptist Church in Atlanta will celebrate its 55th Anniversary on August 17 at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Ken Ellison.

Providence Baptist Church in the Grange Community will host a homecoming service on July 27 at 11:00 a.m. Guest speaker will be David Ray.

Toomsboro Baptist Church in Wilkinson County began its Centennial celebration last month with periodic events marking the church’s 100-year history through May 2009. On June 22 Georgia Baptist Convention Executive Director J. Robert White spoke and presented a plaque of appreciation from the GBC. In addition, a letter of congratulations was presented from President Bush. In August Governor Sonny Perdue will be guest speaker while Clyde Evans, ministry resource consultant for Middle Georgia Region, will speak in September.
