On July 17 Billy Edmondson celebrated 25 years of ministry as senior pastor at Sutallee Baptist Church in White. Edmondson accepted the call from the church in 1991, a call that resulted in a quarter century of ministry to the congregation located in Cherokee County. The church's website is www.sutalleebaptistchurch.com.

Edmondson graduated from Cherokee High School and Reinhardt University and took coursework at Southeastern Seminary. He has served on the Executive Board of the Georgia Baptist Convention (now Georgia Baptist Mission Board).

Edmondson currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Academy at Double H Ranch. The former U.S. Marine and his wife, Sheree, have three children and six grandchildren.
