Ministerial Moves 

Shiloh Baptist Church in Greensboro called Ken Keely as pastor on April 9. Keely, who has been in the ministry since 1982, previously served Georgia churches in Greensboro, Eatonton, and Nicholson in addition to congregations in Ft. Myers, FL; Enon, MS; Puna Gorda, FL. 

Keely  is a 1987 graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a MRE degree.

Ordinations 

Will Harris was ordained on Jan. 29 at First Baptist Church in Woodstock. Harris, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lake Waccamaw, NC, is a graduate of Southeastern Seminary who served as a pastoral mentee under First Woodstock pastor Johnny Hunt prior to going to Lake Waccamaw. The Gospel Bluegrass band Scarlet Wool will be leading worship at Bellview Baptist, Rockmart's homecoming services May 21.

What's Happening 

Bellview Baptist Church in Rockmart will have homecoming services on May 21. Joining in worship will be the Gospel Bluegrass band Scarlet Wool. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. with a fellowship meal to follow.
