2019 SBC annual meeting program released

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BP) — The 2019 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting will convene at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Ala., on Tuesday, June 11, at 8 a.m. and conclude Wednesday, June 12, at 6:15 p.m.

Georgia Baptists appearing on the stage include Sky Pratt, associate pastor for mobilization at Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Bogart, and Gainesville-based evangelist Bucky Kennedy. On Wednesday morning, June 12, Pratt will serve in his chairmanship role to deliver the report by the Committee on Committees. He'll be immediately followed by Kennedy, chairman of the Committee on Nominations, to present that group's report to messengers.

Ray Gentry, associational missions strategist for Southside Baptist Network in McDonough, will speak Wednesday afternoon as executive director of the Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders. First Baptist Woodstock Senior Pastor Johnny Hunt will represent the North American Mission Board, where he also serves as senior vice president of evangelism and leadership. On Tuesday morning he'll deliver the Crossover report.
