Alert: Religious Freedom Restoration Act is ALIVE!

Posted

Last night in a very courageous move, Sen. Marty Harbin amended HB. 257 to include a 1993 version of the “Religious Freedom Restoration Act." As many of you may know Sen. Harbin earlier in the legislative session submitted SB 233 with the same subject matter. The bill was assigned to the Senate Rules committee and has not been heard of since, until last night. The bill, after much debate was tabled in order to be brought back up tomorrow on the 40th and final day of the 2017 legislative session.

Now is the time to contact your Senator and Senate Leadership and ask for them to take the bill off the table and pass it as amended with the Religious Freedom Restoration act! Your prayers and support are crucial at this late hour!
