Madison Herrin, head softball coach and BCM director, has been named as Brewton-Parker College's new director of Athletics. Because of this new title, he will be transitioning out of the BCM director's position while continuing his role as head softball coach in addition to athletic director.

Herrin is entering into his third season as head softball coach and is very excited about this new opportunity. "My family and I love Brewton-Parker and being a part of the student athletes' lives. I look forward to helping instruct and guide them in this new role," he said.

"We are blessed to have a great group of coaches and athletic staff that has a desire to mold young people. It is our job to help shape and mold our student athletes into productive men and women in our society. I look forward to doing this alongside the wonderful coaches and staff here at BPC."

Herrin will begin his duties as director of Athletics on Nov. 1 to ensure the transition into this new position runs smoothly.

Chris Dooley, vice president of Enrollment Services and Athletics, stated that, "as we seek to develop our student athletes spiritually, academically, and athletically, we are excited about the leadership that Madison will provide in these areas as he guides our athletics department."
