2021 Georgia Legislative Session set to begin

Since August, 13 groups have taken prayer tours of the Georgia State Capitol led by Mike Griffin, the Georgia Baptist Public Affairs representative.
The tour also communicated that “it is important that Christians understand their responsibility as citizens and that in doing so, that their voices be heard from Biblical perspective,” Mike Griffin, public affairs representative, said.
The fight for religious liberty is spiritual warfare, Harrison Smith, regional alliance director for Alliance Defending Freedom, told the Georgia Baptist Public Affairs Committee.
“Stand up, Pastors! Be warriors for the truth lest the dark side of 2020 is followed by the darker side of 2021!”
Starting December 14, Georgia Baptists will be participating in a strategic bus tour to encourage Christians to vote their biblical values in the January 5 Senate run-off.
