Monticello Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor/Student Minister to lead a vibrant student ministry which ministers to 50+ students a week through various ministry outreach mediums like Sunday School, prayer breakfast, Wednesday worship, camps and conferences with the potential for growth. The primary responsibilities for the Associate Pastor/Youth Minister will be to plan, organize, and execute a comprehensive ministry to students (6th-12th grades) and their families. Here at MBC we place a strong emphasis on students and reaching the next generation, and we are looking for an energetic person to lead our church in meeting this goal.
The Associate Pastor/Student Minister will work directly with the Pastor and will assist him with the everyday administrative duties associated with the operation of the church, planning/executing ministries to the church and community as a whole, and help with pastoral care.
Qualifications:
1. The Associate Pastor/Student Minister should be called by God to serve in ministry. 2. Posses a passion to impact the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 3. Be organized, possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be able to relate well to people in all age groups. 4. A college or seminary degree is highly preferred. 5. Be an ordained minister or have a desire to become ordained. 6. Be able to support and share a common vision with the Pastor and the congregation to point people to Jesus.All interested applicants are asked to submit their resumes to the church.
