Ideal Baptist Church, located at 402 Tom Watson Avenue, in Ideal, Ga. is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational pastor. We are a traditional Southern Baptist Church that adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We are seeking a pastor who is called by God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to feed the flock of God and oversee the ministries of the church; to serve as teacher and shepherd of the congregation and as the administrator of church operations. The candidate must be able to fulfill the spiritual needs of the congregation through visitations, prayer, conducting wedding/funerals and administering the ordinances of the Baptist church. The candidate must also possess the biblical and spiritual qualities as outlined in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1: 5-9. Although formal seminary training is not required, at least two years of pastoral ministry is desired.
