First Baptist Church of Marietta, Georgia is seeking a full-time Minister of Music/Worship Arts who will lead the Worship Arts Ministry into its future. Our church has a long history of meaningful worship, quality musical offerings, and an effective ministry in Cobb County from its downtown Marietta location. The Minister of Music/Worship Arts is ultimately responsible for the direction, effectiveness and spiritual soundness of the Worship Arts Ministry, including planning, rehearsing and conducting the worship choir and worship orchestra for the 11 AM worship service. Along with the artistic elements of this position, the Minister of Music/Worship Arts shares the role as worship leader with the Senior Pastor and assists the Senior Pastor in presenting effective worship services. A Bachelor's degree is required and previous music ministry experience and/or a Master's degree from an accredited seminary/divinity school is preferred.
