You can never achieve greatness if you are afraid to fail.
“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again.” Proverbs 24:16-18
How often have we not attempted something because we were afraid that we might fail? So many times in our life God give us opportunities. He has planted seeds in our mind and in our spirit for us to accomplish specific goals, but we look at our situation and we begin to believe that we can’t accomplish them. We look at our ability and our own achievements then start thinking that this might be too big for us.
At that point we don’t even attempt what God wants us to do. We must understand that failure is one of the processes towards success. As the scripture says above, “For righteous man falls seven times…” It literally means just that. Just because you did not succeed doesn’t mean that you’re less of a person. It doesn’t mean that you’re less worthy. It simply means that you should get back up and attempt it again.
Remember you will never be able to receive greatness if you just give up. We all know the story of Michael Jordan and how he got cut from his high school team, but he didn’t give up. He grew up to be the greatest NBA player of all time. So, don’t let failure stop you from being great. Have faith, trust God, and get back up.
