The Hispanic Network of North Georgia will be hosting the Hispanic Baptist Conference Saturday, April 20 at Amistad Cristiana International Church in Gainesville.

The event will be the first of its kind held by the group in ten years, Amistad Cristiana Pastor Javier Chavez told The Index.

“We will celebrate a ceremony of the seven words of Jesus at the cross,” he said. “Seven different expositors from seven different Hispanic churches in the region will be the speakers. Also, we have a Communion service planned for all the churches and ministries to be represented.”

Amistad Cristiana is located at 3650 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville. The conference will begin at 6 p.m.
