Ministerial Moves: Fountain, Newell, Stell

In November, Stephen Fountain was welcomed as the lead pastor at First Baptist Church in Buford. He is joined by his wife, Erin, and children, Emma Elyse and Stephen Drake.

Cottondale Baptist Church in Eastman welcomed Jason Newell as pastor on March 5. His wife, Melanie, joins him. Buford Tanner had been serving as the church’s interim.

Keith Stell began his tenure as senior pastor of New Georgia Baptist in Villa Rica at the church’s sunrise service Easter morning, April 5.

For the past 13 years, Stell has served the church as associate pastor for students and families. He and his wife of 29 years, Jill, have raised three children in the area.
