Encourage your church to use one of the following Mission Georgia Moments before the morning worship offering is collected, as part of a Sunday School opening comment, or in a Small Group or WMU meeting. Each entry is not time-sensitive and can be used on any Sunday of the year.
Your Mission Georgia offerings help the state convention’s Church Financial Services ministry to train and support church treasurers in IRS requirements. This important training helps the churches focus more on reaching the lost and quipping the believers than dealing with governmental compliance.
More than 900 Sunday School and Small Groups were started in 2014. Each new group, thanks to your Mission Georgia gifts, averages reaching three new believers. At this rate at least 2,700 could be reached in this year.
