Never give up. Never quit.

If you quit now, you will only find yourself starting over again or either settling for what you don’t really want.
“… but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 CSB
“But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” – Mathew 24:13 CSB
Never give up and never quit. Never give up and never quit. Never give up and never quit.
These are the words my grandfather gave me every day. When things got hard and things got tough he would say, “Either you’re going to quit and give up or keep pursuing and pushing through.”
At the time I thought he was a bit insensitive to my situation. However, because I had a reverential fear of him and did not want to disappoint him, I didn’t quit and I didn’t give up.
But as I got older and lazier, I began to quit more and more. I realized later in life that every time I quit I had to start over again. See, the challenges, accomplishments, and goals in life are like waiting in line at the bank. We can wait in line until they call on us or we can leave the bank to go to another bank only to wait in that line. And if we keep leaving banks to find a shorter line, we will find out that we’ve spent so much time leaving lines and banks that the banks had closed and we would not have accomplished our goal.
So, I say to you, “Endure, hang in there, hold on, and wait in line for your turn.” Your time is coming!
