Georgia Baptist Executive Committee appoints members to Committee on Committees

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia Baptist Executive Committee has appointed eight pastors to serve on the Committee on Committees, a key panel that nominates members to serve on the Administration Committee and the Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation.

Tom Vann of Rentz Baptist Church in Rentz will serve as chairman. The other members are Chris Allen of First Baptist Church in Cairo, Bill Compton, of Belmont Baptist Church in Gainesville, Jeremy Morton of First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Brian Parker of First Baptist Church in Kingsland, Darey Kittle of Salem Baptist Church in Dalton, Tim Sizemore of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Warner Robins, and Jamey Hunt of Sonoraville Baptist in Calhoun.

The appointments were made on Tuesday during a meeting at North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville.

Nominees recommended by the Committee on Committees have to be approved by the Executive Committee at a meeting in December before appointments are official.
