Revival Report

Fellowship Baptist Church in Bainbridge held revival services Sept. 13-16, recording 16 salvations. Jon Reed served as evangelist. Mark Worsley is senior pastor.

On Oct. 18-21 Young’s Grove Baptist Church in Cedartown held revival services with evangelist Keith Fordham. More than 80% of the congregation came forward on Sunday morning to make a commitment for evangelism, with all adult and student Sunday School teachers doing so. Three professions of faith were accompanied by many rededications. One of the salvations was a young man with Asperger’s Syndrome. Normally one with difficulty sitting still, he remained transfixed on Fordham’s dummy, Homer, for 30 minutes as Fordham voiced a presentation of the Gospel. Pastor Blake Dodd counseled him thoroughly to establish an understanding of forgiveness and salvation through Christ.
