Several students with Georgia ties received their diplomas at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary’s commencement Dec. 16.
Pastors and lay leaders around Georgia were recognized for their scholastic efforts through a New Orleans Seminary program that seeks to expand opportunities for theological education.
Twenty-one inmates of Phillips State Prison in Gwinnett County can also call themselves graduates following a June 2 commencement where all earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry through New Orleans Seminary’s Leavell College.
