Which way should I go?

Scripture for today: Col. 3:23-24
It’s graduation season and lots of graduates are asking that question, “Would you tell me please, which way I ought to from here?”
Some graduates know what they want to do. Some may have known for some time. But some are saying, “I’m not sure what I want to do yet.” Like Alice in “Alice in Wonderland,” they are asking, “Would you tell me please, which I ought to go from here?”
So, which way should a young person go?
First, they should follow the direction of the Lord. God made every one of us and God has given us specific gifts. Each one of us has a different DNA. We have different personalities. God may lead some to become engineers, a career that calls for precision in thinking. Others may be called to be artists, a career that requires creativity.
Each one of us are gifted differently.
Secondly, we should do something that excites us. Someone has said that if you get a job that you love, you will never work a day in your life. That is true. If you love for work, it’s not work; you enjoy it.
But in everything you do, work as for the Lord.
