Georgia Baptist webinars today to cover financial matters

Topics will be about giving slump, troubled markets
DULUTH — One day after more than 1,000 participants among several states took part in webinars offered through the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, two more today will address financial issues that churches and individuals face.

Beginning at 10 a.m. EST, the webinar “Church in Debt & Facing Giving Slump? Tips & Strategies” will occur. During it Jonathan Gray, CEO of the Georgia Baptist Foundation, will share what churches carrying debt can do to weather the expected giving slump due to COVID-19.

Afternoon training to address market volatility, retirement

At 1 p.m. EST Shawn Dorrough, GuideStone regional relationship manager for Georgia, will host the webinar “How To Stay On Track In Troubled Markets.” In it, he’ll address the effect current market volatility is having on retirement funds.
