GBC annual report to include lists of ministers without pastorate, church-certified full-time evangelists

A list of ordained ministers who are not currently serving as pastors and who are certified by a Georgia Baptist church or association and a list of full-time evangelists certified by a Georgia Baptist church will be included in the Georgia Baptist Convention 2016 Annual Report.

Ordained ministers not serving in a pastorate desiring that their names appear in the Annual Report must be recommended by the pastor of a church cooperating with the Georgia Baptist Convention or by the moderator of the association to which that church belongs.

Full-time evangelists must be recommended by the pastor of the church where the evangelist’s membership is held. This church must be a cooperating church with the Georgia Baptist Convention. 

Registration forms for both full-time evangelists and ordained ministers are available, at right, for downloading. They should be completed and returned to dgaines@gabaptist.org, faxed to (770) 452-6574, or mailed to:

Please return the completed form no later than June 15, 2017 for inclusion in the 2016 Annual Report. Only the names of those ordained ministers not serving in the pastorate and full-time evangelists who register will appear.
