DULUTH – Registration for the upcoming Spark Conference is now open at thesparkconference.com. To access the free registration link, click “Claim My Free Ticket Now!”
Those who register before Aug. 28 will have free access to the time-released keynote and breakout sessions as well as the live Q&A sessions with the keynote speakers as they’re released Aug. 28. Content will drop throughout the day on Aug. 28, and then bonus content will be available on Aug. 29. All of it is available for free until Sept. 22.
After Sept. 22, one-year access to all training materials can be purchased at the rate of $10 for an individual, $29 for church-wide access, and $99 for association-wide access.
Worship for the annual church leadership training event will be led by Mark Hall and Casting Crowns.
Georgia Pastor Tyrone Barnette of Peace Baptist Church in Decatur, the International Mission Board’s Paul Chitwood, and Long Hollow Baptist Church’s Robby Gallaty will be the keynote speakers. They will be accompanied by a host of breakout leaders. A list of breakout sessions and leaders can be found here.
The event shifted from an in-person plan to exclusively online with ongoing coronavirus concerns. It’s hoped that a broader audience will be able to take advantage of the training and content.
The purpose of the newly renamed Spark Conference (formerly Go Georgia), is to equip Georgia’s churches and associations. It can go farther than that though. Churches across the nation will be able to put the training to use. Specifically, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board is anticipating churches from its six partnership state conventions utilizing the resources.
There are many ways these resources can be used, Scott Sullivan, director of the conference and GBMB Discipleship catalyst, said. These include individual access, associations hosting face-to-face events, or churches providing leaders access. The new format is also more accessible for the bi-vocational pastor’s schedule as well.
