ATLANTA — Georgia Power is monitoring the forecast and expected path of what is anticipated to be Tropical Storm Debby and is prepared to respond to damage and potential power outages that could be caused by damaging winds, heavy rain, excessive lightning and hail. While the path of the storm may change, the company has resources in place and will adjust its plans as the storm nears the state to ensure a safe and effective response.
