ATLANTA – Georgia voters will be getting help from veterans on Election Day this year, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced Tuesday. Raffensperger’s office will partner with Vet the Vote, a new nationwide organization that recruits veterans and members of their families to serve as volunteer poll workers.

“Camp is back!” declared Chris Trent, NextGen catalyst for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. “Superwow and Impact have an amazing legacy here in Georgia. It was amazing this summer to see those camps continue to point teenagers to Jesus in such a powerful way.”

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) — All 10 militants who rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a Pakistani military facility were killed in an 18-hour operation, officials said Tuesday, adding that militants in a separate attack on a health facility killed five civilians.

PARIS (AP) — The man who stabbed and wounded a French soldier patrolling Paris just days before the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics has been taken to a psychiatric hospital, French prosecutors said on Tuesday.
