Abilene Baptist Church celebrates senior pastor’s 10th anniversary

Martinez, Ga. – Abilene Baptist Church celebrated the 10^th anniversary of their Senior Pastor, Dr. Brad Whitt, on Sunday, May 2.

A presentation took place during each of the three morning worship services in which Dr. Whitt’s wife, Kim, was given flowers, and Dr. Whitt was given a gift on behalf of the Personnel Committee. Sunday night, several congratulatory videos from mentors and friends were shown as well as a video that highlighted the significant growth Abilene has experienced under Dr. Whitt’s leadership.

In addition, a video capturing a typical 13-hour Sunday for Dr. Brad Whitt – including preaching four services in person across two campuses – was shown. Afterward, a presentation from the Chairman of the Deacons and a church-wide reception followed.

The Abilene Main Campus is located at the intersection of Washington Road and Columbia Road in Martinez, and their West Campus is located at Harlem Middle School. The broadcast ministry of Abilene Baptist Church, “Strength For Today,” may be seen each Sunday on WJBF-6 at 5:30 AM, WFXG-54 at 10:30 AM, and MeTV at 11:00 AM.
