Brewton-Parker Spring student-athletes earn postseason academic honors

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. — A total of 14 Brewton-Parker student-athletes have made the grade and performed well in the classroom, earning postseason academic honors from the NAIA.

All 14 earned NAIA placements on the 2023-24 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete lists for their respective sports while DJ Christensen highlighted with the 2023-24 Barnes & Noble College Men's Track & Field Scholar-Athlete Team selection with a 4.0 GPA.

BPC Softball led the way with six NAIA selections as Abbey Flowers, Alyssa Usrey, Ashley Wilson, Cailyn Snellgrove, Leah Henry, and Natalie O'Neal all recorded a 3.5 GPA or higher. Brewton-Parker Baseball followed with four honorees with Chris Harmon, J. Reid Phillips, Logan Berggren, and Tate Worrell making the list.

As for the final four, Women's Track & Field notched two honorees while Men's Track & Field produced another two. Keelie Jordan, Naomi Taake, Jacob Hackenberry and Christensen all represented the track programs.
