From the churches: New Hope Baptist Church hosts first "Christmas Store Georgia"

SENOIA, GA — In the true spirit of the holiday season, New Hope Baptist Church is thrilled to announce its first Christmas Store Georgia, a heartwarming initiative dedicated to bringing joy and hope to local families in need. This event took place at the church's South Campus in Senoia on Dec. 13 and 14.

With the mission of equipping parents and guardians to become the champions of their family, the Christmas Store offers an affordable and meaningful shopping experience. 96 families, representing more than 300 children, participated in this unique initiative.

Event Highlights:
• Gifts for Families: Parents selected two high-quality gifts per child, each valued at over $30,
for just $7.50 each. Additionally, families received free stocking stuffers and more to make the season extra special.
• Festive Fun: The event promised a stunning Winter Wonderland atmosphere complete with
children's activities, complimentary holiday treats, free gift wrapping, and opportunities to create cherished memories.
"The Christmas Store is more than just an event; it's a celebration of generosity and community," said Rhys Stenner, Senior Pastor. "Our goal is for every parent and guardian to feel the joy of giving, and for every child to experience the wonder of Christmas. This incredible accomplishment would not have been possible without the amazing efforts of our members. In addition to their generosity, over 300 of them volunteered their time and talents, stepping up to serve in any way needed to make this event a success."

"The blessings of the Christmas Store didn't end as the last shopper left the building on Saturday afternoon," said Rich Terry, Minister of Community and Global Impact. "All of the left over gifts, toys, and coats have been donated to the I-58 Mission in Senoia. Many of their programs will be supplied for all of 2025 through those donations."

This heartwarming initiative is made possible through the dedication of church volunteers, local sponsors, and community members who believe in the power of coming together to uplift others. By giving families the dignity of choice and the joy of participation, the Christmas Store encapsulates the essence of the season.
