DULUTH – Georgia Baptist Executive Director W. Thomas Hammond, Jr., addressed pastors and church leaders in a video update titled “A Look Ahead with Thomas Hammond.”

“Pastors, church leaders, staff members, thank you. This past year has been a year like no other. You have served, worked harder, been more innovative and creative than ever before in ministry, and sometimes seen less results,” Hammond said, introducing the video.

He continued, “I know in all of us, there’s a sense of frustration and even some depression. But I want to say that God is doing a great work in your ministry, your lives, and your church. And we want to stay faithful in every way to continue to reach this lost state with the gospel.”

Hammond addressed the following topics:

  • 2020 victories at 2:35
  • Listening Sessions at 5:41
  • Financial update at 9:31
  • Properties at 10:38
  • 2021 opportunities at 12:09

The video also features other Mission Board staff, including David Melber, chief operations officer and Levi Skipper, lead strategist for Church Strengthening.

“The pause button on the great commission has not been pushed,” Hammond encouraged.
