Obituary: Betty Rooks Parr, member of Hebron Baptist Church

 Betty Rooks Parr, age 87 of Hoschton, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2022 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Parr officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.

Betty was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bennie Royce Parr; parents, Quinton and Wilma (Warbington) Rooks; brother, Larry Rooks; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby and Shirley Rooks.

She is survived by her children, Michelle and J.R. Watson of Hoschton, GA, Dr. Steve and Carolyn Parr of Bethlehem, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Fran and Benny Fields of Gainesville, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Loy and Sarah Rooks of Dacula, GA; grandchildren, Jameson and Julianne Pugh of Buford, GA, Jessica and Nik Argiro of Winder, GA, Leah and Greg Manning of Winder, GA, Lauren and Tyler Martin of Charleston, SC, Larissa Parr of Lawrenceville, GA; great grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Amelia, Luke, Kylie Jane, McKenna and Cailyn.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville
