Jerry Clinton Little, 71, of Ringgold, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
A native of Tallapoosa, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charles Hoyt Little and Marie Pollard Little. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Charles Little, of Rome, Georgia.
Jerry graduated from Berry College in 1974 with a BA in History and Political Science, and in 1977 he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. After planting and pastoring churches in Wisconsin, upstate New York, and Carrollton, Georgia, he retired as Catoosa Baptist Associational Missionary in 2020.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who faithfully served his Savior. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kim Camille Burroughs Little, daughters Erin (Chris) Nero and Amanda Little of Ringgold, and son Clint (Quinn) Little of Clemmons, NC. His two grandchildren brought extra joy and love; Jack and Emmy Little of Clemmons, NC. Other survivors include siblings Phyllis (Gene) Williams of Armuchee, Georgia and Tim (Reatha) Little of Rome, Georgia, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Private interment will follow at Burning Bush Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-1:00 p.m
