DALLAS, Ga. — Paulding Pregnancy Services hosted its third annual "Miles for Moms" 5K race on Saturday, with the event starting and ending in the parking lot of Fortified Hills Baptist Church.

Nearly 150 participants ran, walked or strolled to complete the course. The event is an official qualifying race for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race held on July 4.

In February this year, the pregnancy center received a $24,850 grant from the Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation. The center's director, Christy James, says the funds were used to purchase an ultrasound machine which will hopefully be installed later this month.
