MONROE, Ga. – The Walnut Grove cluster of schools is heaping praise on Pastor Tommy Fountain Sr., his wife, Dianne, and 1025 Church for their ministry to children.

“The Fountains and the 1025 staff never meet a stranger,” said Youth Elementary School Principal Susan Enfinger. “They love to greet people with a hug and are always willing to help. They value family, community and have a servant’s heart. They are always looking for ways to be a blessing to others.”

Enfinger presented the Fountains with The One Impact Award at a meeting earlier this week. It wasn’t the first time 1025 Church and the Fountains had been formally recognized for their outreach to local schools. Both Monroe Area High School and the Monroe cluster of schools had honored them with Impact Awards in the past.

“The Fountains moved to Walton County in 2013,” Enfinger said. “They’ve spent the last nine years working to love this community and to show people how much they care for them. The Fountains and 2025 Church have provided tremendous support for Youth Elementary School. They have supported us in times of need and in times of joy.”

Enfinger said the 1025 Church staff has provided cookouts for students, participated in field days, and led in team-building activities.

“The entire church staff came to Youth Elementary School after the tragic loss of our student and spent time caring for and loving our school community,” she said.

Enfinger thanked the Fountains and their church for the unconditional love and support they have shown to the school. She said Dianne Fountain “is a particularly familiar face,” volunteering in classrooms and being “a cheerleader to all of our staff.”

The Fountains received applause from school district staff and parents when the award was presented.

“We were humbled,” the pastor said.
