Formerly referred to as the Annual Church Profile, the Annual Church Report gathers statistical information on Georgia Baptist Churches annually. Church Research Services of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board is currently receiving those reports from congregations for the 2017 report.
“We’ve heard back from about 40 percent of our churches so far,” said Georgia Baptist state missionary Tom Crites. “They’re in the process of reporting to their associations. We aim for a deadline of Nov. 15, but know that some associations work on a January-through-December fiscal calendar. Because of that we won’t have a complete report until early next year.”
