DULUTH — The list of churches giving the highest percentage of their total receipts to the Cooperative Program in 2017 was recently released.

Members of the Georgia Baptist Convention Executive Committee received the figures at their meeting March 13. The gathering was held at the Baptist Missions and Ministry Center in Duluth.

Churches in the Top Ten gave at least 25 percent of their budget towards the Cooperative Program. The list was compiled and presented by Georgia Baptist Mission Board Financial Services.

Through the Cooperative Program, churches of any size are able to make an impact with Southern Baptist Missions worldwide. In the list presented to Executive Committee members, churches giving at least 10 percent of undesignated receipts made the Top 200. Three more congregations -- Trinity Baptist in Thomaston, Welcome Home Baptist in Mount Airy, and Bethlehem Baptist in Hamilton -- gave 9.9 percent of receipts to CP in 2017.
