Fellowship Baptist Church in Bowen Association held homecoming services Nov. 8 with guest speaker Jerry Spencer and music by Freedom Hill Quartet.

Ordination

Morningside Baptist Church in Bowen Association ordained Brandon Conley as a deacon on Nov. 15.

Ministerial Moves

Pumpkinvine Baptist in Dallas welcomed Don Basal as its pastor, with him preaching his first service at the church on Dec. 6. He holds degrees from New Orleans Seminary and Luther Rice Seminary and has served as pastor at churches for more than 30 years in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. His wife Kaye joins him.

Faceville Baptist Church recently welcomed Ernie Jones as pastor.

Sisters Baptist Church in Washington Baptist Association recently called Jason Loggins as pastor. He and his wife, Bambi, have two sons, Jason, Jr., 6, and Joshua, 4.

After seven months as serving as interim, Jim Star was named pastor of Hapeville First Baptist Church. His wife, Chris, joins him.
