NOBTS holds graduation services

NEW ORLEANS — Several graduates with Georgia ties helped make up the graduating class at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Leavell College, taking part in commencement services Dec. 15. 

Valerie Leigh Eidson, Mother of preschoolers coordinator at First Baptist Church in Jesup, earned her Master of Arts in Discipleship.

Mark Anthony Caruso, minister of youth and activities at Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, earned a Master of Arts in Christian Educaiton. 

Donald Heath Walton, associate pastor of Sargent Baptist Church in Sargent, earned his Master of Divinity. 

Yeon Kyong Chung, senior pastor of Suwanee Korean Baptist Church, earned a Doctor of Ministry. Also receiving his Doctor of Ministry was Brooks Alan Lindsey, a chaplain/bereavement counselor at Compassus Hospice in Atlanta. Lindsey's home church is First Baptist in Conyers. 

Also, Patrick Shawn Fielder, pastor of students and connection at HighView Church in Villa Rica, received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Leavell College, NOBTS' undergraduate program.
