Those add to two records Nadal already owned. His victory Sunday came two days after his 36th birthday and made him the oldest title winner in the history of the clay-court tournament. The Spaniard’s first triumph there came in 2005 at age 19. No man or woman ever has won the singles trophy at any major event more than his 14 in Paris.

DENVER (AP) — Adam Duvall capped a four-run 11th inning with a two-run homer and the Atlanta Braves spoiled the debut of Colorado’s new “City Connect” uniforms by beating the Rockies 6-2. Marcell Ozuna and William Contreras each hit a two-out, run-scoring double off Jhoulys Chacín to set the stage for Duvall.

Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State all won their regional NCAA baseball tournament games on Saturday.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons are bringing back their red helmets for their throwback uniforms this season. The Falcons have announced they will bring back the red helmets with black jerseys for the first time since 2012. The team will bring back the combination, which pays tribute to their first uniform in 1966, when they play the San Francisco 49ers in a home game on Oct. 16.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons have signed wide receiver Cameron Batson, who comes to the team with connections to coach Arthur Smith and quarterback Marcus Mariota. The 26-year-old Batson had 22 catches for 197 yards with two touchdowns in three seasons with Tennessee, including two with Smith as as tight ends coach and offensive coordinator.
