ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia running backs Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton say they are entering the NFL draft. Edwards led the Bulldogs with 880 rushing yards. Milton capped a productive senior season by rushing for two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 63-3 rout of Florida State in the Orange Bowl.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons' season of uncertainty at quarterback will continue through the final week of the regular season. Falcons coach Arthur Smith said Monday that Taylor Heinicke, who left Sunday's 37-17 loss to the Chicago Bears with a left ankle injury, will try to return this week.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Sophomore Malik Reneau scored 34 points, setting a career high for a second straight game, to lead Indiana to a 100-87 victory over Kennesaw State on Friday night.

CHICAGO (AP) — Trae Young finished with 21 points and 13 assists but the Hawks lost to Chicago 118-113 Tuesday night. Chicago's DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points, all but four of them in the second half. He had 11 in the fourth quarter, including eight in the final 2:50 to help Chicago come away with the win.

HONOLULU (AP) — Kenan Blackshear finished with 30 points and Jarod Lucas scored 20 to lead Nevada to a 72-64 victory over Georgia Tech in the championship game of the Diamond Head Classic on Sunday night.

ATLANTA (AP) — Taylor Heinicke provided the turnover-free leadership at quarterback Atlanta has sought all season, passing for 229 yards and a touchdown to lead the Falcons to a 29-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Darren Grainger threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns and ran for two more, Freddie Brock rushed for 276 yards and a score, and Georgia State rolled past Utah State 45-22 in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Saturday.

Kennesaw State falls to UNC Asheville 79-70

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Kennesaw State fell to UNC Ashville 79-70 on Saturday despite strong effort from Terrell Burden who finished with 22 points,. UNC Asheville's Drew Pember scored 21 points, hitting 2 of 7 from the field and 17 of 18 from the free throw line.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Haynes King threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score and Georgia Tech overcame a 14-point deficit to beat UCF 30-17 in the Gasparilla Bowl on Friday night. King went 7 for 13 for 87 yards and ran for 89 yards on 12 carries. Jamal Haynes had 128 yards on 18 rushes to help Georgia Tech (7-6) to its first winning season since 2018. He became the Yellow Jackets' first 1,000-yard runner since 2017.

HONOLULU (AP) — Kyle Sturdivant scored 21 points and sealed the win with a pair of free throws, capping Georgia Tech's rally from a double-digit deficit to defeat Massachusetts 73-70 at the Diamond Head Classic on Thursday night. Georgia Tech closed the game on an 18-6 run in which Sturdivant scored eight points, including the final six.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons are relying on former backup quarterbacks as the teams headed in opposite directions prepare to meet on Sunday. The Colts (8-6) have won five of six with Gardner Minshew leading the offense to move into a share of first place in the AFC South. The Falcons (6-8) have benched turnover-plagued starter Desmond Ridder for the second time this season following two straight losses.
